Michelle Addington
Michelle Addington, founder of Honua Films, Inc., is a director, writer, and producer. Over a period of 23 years, Michelle has earned a reputation of undertaking, completing, and distributing projects of the highest quality receiving numerous Emmy Awards from documentaries, short films to commercials. Michelle’s experience includes the production of more than 30 shows for the travel industry to include: The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, and Hyatt Hotels. In 2003, she received her first Emmy Award for Above & Below Maui, a short film narrated by Bo Derek.
Amos Kotomori
Amos Kotomori is one of those rare individuals who deserve to be called a renaissance man. Film and television stylist; award-winning designer of textiles, fashion, and interiors; teacher; talent agent; accomplished chef; fundraiser; and beauty pageant consultant, Amos’ reputation extends far beyond the islands of Hawai’i where he makes his home. recipient of a Rockefeller Fellowship at de Young Museum in San Francisco, he is also a three-time Hawai’i Fashion Guild Designer of the Year, and a winner of numerous advertising awards including a Clio for the Jantzen Sport catalog. Amos’ international print and television advertising credits include: Sprite, Bud Lite, Japan Airlines, Coca-Cola, American Cruise Lines, United Airlines, Bank of America, Campbell Soup, and Hawai’i Visitors & Convention Bureau. He has also designed interiors for the world’s greatest hotel chains including Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin-Oriental, Starwood, Prince, Hyatt, and Marriott. This partial list of credits only begins to describe the selfless collaborator with the unique ability to manage complex projects without sacrificing his role as a fully engaged partner. It goes without saying that Amos embodies the spirit of community in the most universal sense of the word.
Lyndon Meikle
Lyndon Meikle, president and CEO of LLB Holdings, Inc. is a private investor with more than 30 years of experience in both corporate enterprises and private ventures. Lyndon earned his MBA from Pepperdine University, and has held various executive positions in the disciplines of accounting and finance, human resources, and international operations. Lyndon transitioned from corporate to private enterprise with the purchase of the film he worked on for more than 17 years. Within three years, Lyndon achieved substantial profits by focusing on internal efficiencies and profit growth through developing and fostering business relationship with team consciousness building, which led to controlling costs and maintaining budget targets. Upon moving to the private business sector, he managed his real estate holdings company and equities investments while donating his time to mentoring young professionals entering the world environment through FOCUS seminars.
Robert Perkins
Robert Perkins has worked as a professional in the medical field since 1996. He graduated with honors in Radiologic Technology, and has worked in clinics, hospitals and on travel assignments across the US, adapting to a wide variety of clinical settings. Robert has volunteered throughout the world, with projects ranging from restoring housing for the homeless in France, to restoring endemic plant life with the Surf Rider Foundation on Maui’s North Shore. Robert has worked with numerous non-profits with a sustainable forestry program at Hawaiian Legacy Hardwoods on the Big Island of Hawaii including the Boy Scouts. He also established the re-forestation project with the Four Seasons Hualalai and Hawaiian Legacy Hardwoods. Robert has continued his desire to give back and is now working as a substance abuse counselor with another non-profit organization, Maui Youth and Family Services at Lahainaluna High School on Maui.
Thomas Visser
Tom came out of the independent film world mixing independent projects in the trenches of New York City. After moving to Hawaii, he broadened his horizons and worked in television, film and documentaries. He orchestrated Honua Films’ first Grant, recruited team members and takes an active part in the process of completing the documentary “Pure Medicine: Beyond The Mission”.
Don Brown
Don Brown has worked as a lawyer who found a niche when he was asked by the Legal Firm he worked for to network their computers. He now owns and operates Firefly Network Services, an IT Consulting Firm that specifically services small law firms and businesses. In an effort to pay it forward, Don started Firefly Creative Studio to help small business owners build their brand and grow their business by incorporating his IT Consulting knowledge and adding website and logo design.
